   - Once you find the promise, you have the key
   -To be able to do good things, it doesn't come without difficulty
   -God never said that His promise alone will secure everything

    1. Diligence is the personal trait that will make a person rich
           Proverbs 10:4
          -things don't respond just because you touch them
          -if you are serious you will do well.
   2. Diligence is the personal traits that make a person a leader
           Proverbs 12:24
   3. Diligence is the personal trait that makes a person  have an abundance of wealth
         -Proverbs 21:5
          Daniel 1:17; 20
    4.  Diligence is the personal trait that leads to promotion
         Proverbs 22:9
        -you have to make a case for yourself

    -it is important to build of your faith; your faith can grow
    -If you leave your faith unattended to, it won't grow

    -your faith feeds on what you hear, but it has to be the right thing
    -you need to guard your ears if you're going to have faith

    -all senses feed information, therefore your eyes can also hear
    -focusing on the past ruins the future

                - you have to add so many things to be a fruitful Christians
                -diligence is the persistence and relentless effort by an individual to solve a problem

Honoring Your Fathers

Father—a person who has originated or established something; to be the creator, founder, or author of something
Founder—to set up or establish on a firm basis or for enduring existence 
Often founders are forgotten, when things start to work out 

Reasons Why You Must Honor Your Father 
1. It's one of the Ten Commandments 
  - Exodus 20:12; 1-23
- "10" stands for completeness in the Bible 
2. Prolongs your days in the blessings that have come through him 
- Deuteronomy 5:16
- Ephesians 6:2-3
3. Curse for the hearts of children not to be turned towards their father 
- Malachi 4:6
4. It's immature not to recognize/honor your Father/Founder  
5. It is your duty
- Malachi 1:6

Types of Confessions 
1. Confessing your sins to the Father 

    A confession is a declaration 
    Ours sins obstruct our relationship with God

           -something that you catch yourself doing 
      B. Sins of omission
           -things we could've done, but we didn't

           -When someone is looking in a certain way, they can see things differently

Sometimes people don't feel anything wrong with sinning it is because you have lost your sensitivity to it

Every great work requires sacrifice 
Every time a baby is born, God requires great sacrifice
