Wisdom shows up in the list of determinants as the winner of bread - that is, unless time and chance change the circumstances. Wisdom is the level of skill and judgment in applying the knowledge you have. You can't hide it - when it is lacking, it shows, when it is present it shows in your life!

How To Improve Your Strength
Sunday Nov 22, 2020
Sunday Nov 22, 2020
Ecclesiastes 9:11 KJV I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the STRONG, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
From Ecclesisates 9:11 we gather that the best outcomes are not always realized through speed, strength, wisdom, understanding and skill, but time and chance produces surprising outcomes. This is actually saying that barring the intervention of time and chance, the usual determinants are speed, strength, wisdom, understanding and skill - factors that we can influence.
In this episode, we look at some examples of strong men in the Bible we can learn to follow, and how to improve your strength.
- Make God your strength - trust in His mercy.
- Receive counsel from God
- Strengthen yourself by returning and resting in God

And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his ARMOURBEARER. 1 Samuel 16:21
There are so many Christians who want to start out on top! But the only job that begins at the top is grave digging! If you study the background of many great people, you will discover that they once served at the lowest level in their profession.
The best leader is someone who has been a follower for many years. Because you have done menial jobs, you are more reasonable with your subordinates. You understand what they are going through and do not give impossible commands.

Do not be afraid of small beginnings; God will lift you up. You will benefit from all the experiences you have had in your small beginnings.
It was when David was looking after the few sheep that he had a fight with a bear and a lion. It is because he was used to fighting impossible situations that he was able to take on Goliath.

And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. Numbers 14:26-27
Murmuring and complaining can become the culture of any office, church or group. The Israelites developed this culture of being dissatisfied, discontent and disenchanted by everything their leader did. They complained about everything until their complaints sounded like madness.
Complaining and murmuring is satanic in its very nature. Demonic things often make no sense when they are analysed. It does not make sense when people shout and rave for being delivered from slavery. The senseless and unreasonable outbursts of the Israelites revealed the presence of demons amongst them.
- Miriam developed leprosy because she murmured against Moses.
- The Israelites developed plagues and diseases when they murmured against the Lord.
